What This Workflow Does

This workflow helps you turn raw peer review screenshots from platforms like Gartner, G2, or TrustRadius into structured, competitive intelligence. It guides you through extracting reviews, organizing them by vendor, identifying key themes, analyzing sentiment, and summarizing strengths and weaknesses. The final output is a clear, side-by-side comparison across vendors—perfect for informing sales strategies, marketing messages, or product positioning.

Workflow Steps Summary

  • Step 0: Define Inputs

  • Step 1: Extract Reviews from Screenshot Using OCR

  • Step 2: Detect and Group Feedback by Vendor (optional if multi-vendor)

  • Step 3: Identify and Categorize Review Themes (per Vendor)

  • Step 4: Classify Sentiment by Category (per Vendor)

  • Step 5: Summarize Strengths and Weaknesses (per Vendor)

  • Step 6: Create Competitive Comparison Table Across Vendors

What a workflow, I'd better subscribe or upgrade.

Step 0: Define Inputs

{image_file=screenshot of Gartner Peer Reviews, G2 Crowd, TrustRadius, etc.}

{vendors=list of vendor names to analyze}

{product_category=type of product or solution being reviewed}

{audience=who this competitive analysis is for, e.g., internal strategy team, sales, marketing}

{priority_focus=what matters most in the analysis: sentiment, feature mentions, customer pain points, etc.}

Step 1: Extract Text from Screenshot

<Role>

You are an AI assistant skilled in OCR and natural language processing.

</Role>

<Context>

You have been provided with a screenshot from a peer review website that contains multiple reviews for one or more software vendors.

</Context>

<Task>

Extract all readable text from the image file and organize it by individual review blocks. Ensure each review is clearly separated and readable.

</Task>

<Format>

Output each review as a distinct paragraph, labeled numerically or by timestamp if available. Do not attempt to interpret the reviews yet.

</Format>

<Tone>

Neutral and technical.

Step 2: Detect and Group Feedback by Vendor

<Role>

You are a competitive intelligence analyst.

</Role>

<Context>

You have extracted text from a peer review screenshot and need to sort the reviews by the vendor each review is referring to.

</Context>

<Task>

Analyze the text and group each review under the appropriate vendor listed in {vendors}. If a vendor is not explicitly mentioned but can be inferred, assign accordingly. If unclear, tag as “Unknown Vendor.”

</Task>

<Format>

Present the grouped reviews in sections, one section per vendor, each containing a list of associated reviews.

</Format>

<Tone>

Organized and analytical.
