What does this do?

The Understanding User Needs workflow systematically gathers insights about customer pain points, goals, and barriers to success. By analyzing feedback, simulating user interviews, and generating actionable user stories, this process helps businesses refine their product positioning, prioritize feature development, and craft targeted messaging. It ensures that product and marketing strategies align with real user challenges and expectations.

Workflow steps

  1. Define segmentation objectives and user research goals

  2. Analyze user pain points, motivations, and barriers

  3. Review existing customer feedback for patterns

  4. Simulate user interviews to capture first-hand perspectives

  5. Generate user stories based on pain points and needs

  6. Identify unmet needs and innovation opportunities

  7. Validate and prioritize user needs based on impact and urgency

  8. Translate findings into actionable product and messaging strategies

Define variables

Define the objective: Understand user needs
